The Longest Cave in the World

My husband and I decided to go to in Kentucky to explore in there and will visit their “Mammoth Cave” and did you know that cave is world's longest known cave? In fact, it is so long that if the second and third longest caves in the world were joined together and the Mammoth Cave would still be the planet's longest cave and have nearly 100 miles left over! Mammoth Cave National Park preserves the cave system and a part of the Green River valley and hilly country of south central Kentucky. This is the world's longest cave system, with more than 365 miles explored. Early guide Stephen Bishop called the cave a "grand, gloomy and peculiar place," but its vast chambers and complex labyrinths have earned its name: Mammoth. Furthermore, my husband and I did stay in Jellystone Campground for 1 night which we did rent one of their good cabins. We suppose to stay in Mammoth cave hotel but since my husband and I wanted to be adventurous we did stay in the cabin and on that night time we had a bonfire.

In the morning we woke up about 8am since our tour in Mammoth cave will be start at 10am. We woke up early, because we do not want to be late or missed our tour but when we arrived in the visitor area and while waiting our tour, only to find out we were early, because of the daylight time savings and therefore we waited for about 1 hour in there. I was wearing my thick jacket that time as it was windy, cold and raining too. In about 10 o’clock we started standing outside to wait our ranger and everything is ready we hopped in the bus going to the entrance of Mammoth cave and we rode in about 5-10 mins. I was excited that time of our tour. In that tour we are almost 30 or perhaps 30 something. My husband brought his little flashlight and when started I was amazed since it was very big cave and we did walked about almost 4 hrs. inside the cave and can you imagine that is pretty long time to walked inside in there. We did stop in about 12 noon to eat our lunch as they have also a little canteen, it has some tables and there are some sits too. My husband and I did order lunch box which contains apple, chips, cookie and sandwich etc and we ordered also vegetables. We had fun walking in the cave, there are some stairs that you need to strive to walk, because it was somewhat steep and if you have week knees or legs, high blood pressure, low blood circulation, heart problems or other diseases which will be the hindrance of walking, you cannot do it, because walking in about 4 hrs. is not easy. When the time we almost done or nearby the end of the cave, we saw alot of wondrous rocks formations which you can see the pictures below. We had really great time walking inside the cave and that was the best exercise (lol). When the tour was end we waited our bus to pick us up to give us a ride going back to visitor center and it was raining snow that time and that was weird even it was already 2nd week of April and it happens like that rarely in Kentucky. Our tour guide that time was good.

Dinner at Eagle's Nest Revolving Restaurant, Indianapolis

My husband, his friend and I went to this “Eagle's Nest Revolving Restaurant” last week on Tuesday and this restaurant reminds me of “1st revolving top restaurant in the world” which is in Mt. Schiltorn restaurant which you can see also the amazing view of the Alps. This Eagle's Nest Revolving Restaurant is located on the very top of “Hyatt Hotel” and you can see the view of downtown Indianapolis and which is the only revolving restaurant in the State of Indiana. They do have a dress code which is preferred business casual as this restaurant is a fancy one. We planned to just have a drink in there, because we just ate of the popular Italian restaurant here in Indy but then eventually I started getting hungry and I just did order sides of sautéed mushrooms and linguini with herbs on top and my husband end up also ordering crab stuffed mushroom that he really liked and our friend ordered a salmon which comes with seaweed. When we were there it was very few people there and my husband and I planned to go back that restaurant.

It's Tuesday night, my husband decided to go back in that restaurant and ate our dinner there, I did not argue since I liked their service and the view. This evening, I ordered their eagle’s nest vegetarian pasta which comes with fresh cut vegetables, herbs, mushrooms and others which was good and I ordered also an onion soup for both of us. My husband wanted to order their crab stuffed mushroom but the waitress said they do not have that one anymore, because out of ingredients or crab etc. and my husband end up ordering their Salmon comes with some vegetables and while eating our dinner we look the view and enjoy our food and that was a romantic and great dinner we had. We did get a dessert too since been for a while we did not order any dessert when we eat out, because sometimes after we ate our entrée we feel full and we ordered a dessert in there and I choose to have a cherry blossom as I wanted to order which I have not tried before but my husband said it might be not good and he decided to get a carrot cake and I agreed. When the time the waitress came back into our table I was surprised that she brought the cherry blossom dessert and when I looked the dessert it looks so good and when I tried it hmmm… and I can say, tasty than carrot cake! (ha-ha) Since they do not have a crab stuffed mushrooms she did give us free cherry blossom dessert and that was great! I liked the cherry blossom alot as it was light dessert and very tasty yum-yum! My husband and I will go back again in this “Eagle's Nest Revolving Restaurant” as they have excellent service, great view of downtown Indianapolis but the menu price is somewhat expensive though but worth it! I rate it 4 stars out of 5 stars!
The "Hyatt Hotel" and you can see above which is the revolving restaurant and the hotel looks kinda small but it is a massive and it is a tall one.
The Indiana's State Capitol building, I took it from the restaurant.

Experienced Staying Hampton Inn Frankfort, Kentucky

My husband planned to stay this “Hampton Inn” for 3 nights and this Inn is located in 1310 US Highway 127 South Frankfort, KY 40601 in which is just middle of everywhere, because it is just close to many of the city’s most popular sites and nearby shopping center, restaurants etc. Visitors are just a short drive (five miles) from the state capitol, executive mansion and Kentucky History Museum. The Buffalo Trace Distillery, the oldest in the United States, lies just six miles from the front door of our hotel in Frankfort. I liked staying there since they service was great; the receptionist was friendly to us, because when the time we check out, he asked us if we need bottled of water. My husband and I stayed many hotels but I am impressed being offering and asking you if you need water and I consider that being a friendly and great service. The room that we stayed in was clean, arranged, very comfy bed, offer free good breakfast from 6-10am and the Inn also offers wi-fi but the problem is that their wi-fi kept on and off and I did not like it. The price is reasonable and I really liked their hotel alot and if we will go there again, we are surely to stay there. I rate it 4 stars for me out of 5 stars.
